Good to be back!

Hi guys,

Hope you all had a good holiday. Mine flew by!

Well….. A new year and renewed enthusiasm. Although I have to say I have never seen any of you lose yours!

I would like to meet quite early on this term to get the committee up and running in order to start getting our ideas and projects implemented.

First thing we need to do is find a date and advertise the eco martyrs in order to get members and have a decent number of people to strive to achieve our aims.

I look forward to seeing you all soon

E-mails

Should we get an internet based e-mail for the whole group. So that anyone we contact like Politians and Feeder Schools can contact us by not using a blog. I found that it is better to have several ways of being contacted.

Eco-Olympics

The Olymics has been a great success with Rebecca Adlington and David Davies being my heroes. But the thing that was kept low in the olympics was the pollution. The rowes and canoeists were in a lot of danger and people worrying about what the water would be like for the open water swimming. So what really happened. What was beijing like. This seems weird for it to tie in to our thjing but altogether we are trying to save our planet.

What does everyone think?

What can be done for London 2012 and how can we make an effort?

It’s just a thought.

Update: St. Patrick as the new EcoMartyrs Patron Saint.

I have realised, that if we dedicate our garden to St. Patrick, we were planning to buy a statue. Thing is St. Patrick is more well known as the Patron Saint of Ireland, so most statues will show him as a Bishop of Ireland not as a Gardener.

Let me know what you think.
