EcoMartyrs Logo

Posted on 12 July, 2008 by indianajones

Ok, I have designed some logos in PowerPoint. The logos are made up of individual pictures and then grouped together, so we can use it in Word as a Header. If we need to I can always print screen the chosen logo and paste it into Paint and save it as a picture file. But there are a number to choose from so tell me which one you like the most, and on which slide in the comments.

Download the PowerPoint Presentation to see the logos: eco_martyrs_logo1

In the new academic year, I shall make an animation for this blog. And before you say it, I can’t make an animation at home because I don’t have the softwere/program.

I have added two new logos. Tell me your opinion on them below:

Wow, excellent work, you’ve been very busy. I like the first one especially. Which is your favourite? How about the rest of you guys? Which one do you think?

Sir, I prefer the one on slide 4. But I don’t want it to be my own choice. I’d like one of the designs to be chosen by the group. I could always merge some together…

    Mr Manger/ Geogrob. UGENT-URGENT-URGENT-URGENT

If you look in the comments bit of the dashboard, there is a new comment with a person offering their logo designing services. I haven’t any idea who they are. Possible not from the school. If we wanted proper logo design softweres and programs we could just use the ICT computers. They definately have some.

Dont worry Dan, it will just be someone trawling blogs looking for a bit of work. I like the idea of keeping all of our designs in house.

You have done an excellent job drawing some up. Perhaps others would like a go too and we could decide which we liked best?

Thanks for changing the design too. Most people don’t like dull colours. And I couldn’t agree more about logos coming from the school itself.

That reminds me I was thinking of running a competition in school, the prize being a recycled product. I know that in the Oxfam store they sell brand new recycled pencil cases made of car tyres. Perhaps the competition task could be to design a logo?

I like it You have lots of excellent ideas Dan. It’s definitely one for the future. Make sure you remember it and we will discuss it at an Eco.M meeting in the future.

I always joke that when I have ideas everyone should take cover! I’ll make a list of ideas so I don’t forget.

Brill. We’ll make sure we listen to them as soon as we have an appropriate time at a meeting so we can work out what we want to do next.
